Dr Visvalingam completed her basic physician training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney and her advanced training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Westmead Hospital, Sydney.
Dr Visvalingam is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, London and also a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She is currently a Staff Specialist in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Wollongong Hospital where she has established the highly successful respiratory failure service for the Illawarra. Dr V has also introduced endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) to the region and is an interventional bronchoscopist.
Dr Visvalingam has been involved in multiple research projects and is a published author.

Stergos trained in the field of sleep medicine at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney with the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. He obtained his Master of Science in Medicine, Sleep Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sydney under Professor Colin Sullivan, the inventor of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) which is the gold standard for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) treatment worldwide.
Stergos is a Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (USA) (BRPT) currently the only internationally recognised qualification, and one of only 154 board registered Australia wide. He is also a founding member and accredited clinical sleep physiologist registered with the Australian Council for Clinical Physiologists.
